COMPANY HISTORY

In 1966 renowned builders Hansen and Yuncken opened a subsidiary company named Monash Plant Hire located in Blackburn Rd Clayton. Tim Fowler was the General Manager and ran Monash Plant Hire while also working for Hansen and Yuncken in the 1990's.

Several years later (1998) Mr Enrico Abbonizio, the founder and owner of Huntingdale Cranes, bought out Monash Plant Hire from Hansen and Yucken to further grow his crane business into access and general equipment hire. Enrico with his expertise and great depth of knowledge relocated the business to the Mt Waverley suburg of Victoria.

In 1998 Enrico renamed Monash Plant Hire to MONASH HIRE as well as incorporating Huntingdale Mobile Cranes. Monash Hire and Huntingdale Cranes have both since become separate companies due to massive growth, expansion and demand.

Monash Hire has over 60 employees and boasts branches in Mt Waverley, Hastings, Coburg, Footscray in Victoria, Mackay in Queensland and Auckland New Zealand which were opened in 1998, 2000, 2005, 2008 and 2009 sucessfully.

Monash Hire are a growing company which is both Australian owned and operated. Over the years Monash Hire has acquired various ranges of equipment, knowledge & experience. Monash Hire aims to go above and beyond their customers requirements and build strong and lasting relationships within the Hire Industry.

Monash Hire are proud sponsors and members of the Victorian Police Association, Work Safe Victoria, Elevating Work Platform Association Australia, Hire & Rental Association, Baseplan, Arcon Telecommunications, National Bandana Day for Kids with Cancer,The Royal Childrens Hospital,Pink Ribbon the National Breast Cancer Foundation and many more.

Monash Hire Group has now created a Road Division named Monash Road P/L. Monash Road has succesfully opened branches in Footscray VIC and Hemmant in QLD. As time has moved on, Monash Group Pty Ltd has stepped up the Road Division by winning some major contracts in Brisbane. Therefore Brisbane has grown above our forecasts. Monash Road has built it's business well above expectations. The team Monash Road has in Queensland is a credit to itsself, which is supported and guided by Tim Fowler (General Manager).
